Finally we can hear something new from James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem. It’s been two years since they released Sound of Silver and they gave us a remix collection of “45:33″ not long ago.
Their new track “Bye Bye Bayou” is a cover of Alan Vega/Suicide and its not going to be on their new album set to release early 2010. However it might be a taste of what to come.
“Bye Bye Bayou” makes me think of some the Hercules and Love Affair stuff and especially the brilliant mixed compilation cd James Murphy and Pat Mahoney did for the FabricLive series which is filled with late disco goodness.
