All that is solid melts into the air

Designer and animator Kultnation made this art video with the help of sound designer Echolab. I’ll let them explain in their own words: “Under a violent irruption of forms and structures, everything flows towards a constant evolution. “All that is solid” is a visual and poetic journey influenced by art, design, architecture and photography”

Universiteit Twente

This is the visual identity of Universteit Twente, designed by Studio Dumbar, made into moving images by Amsterdam studio Buro Knapzak. The dot is the center for evolving diagrams and animated molecular models in this interesting promo video, and since the identity in it self have been considered characterless by some, the extra effort from Buro Knapzak brings the whole to a more acceptable level with some visual context.

Kings of Convenience — “Boat Behind”

The new video for the Norwegian favourites, Kings of Convenience’ new single “Boat Behind”, from their upcoming LPDeclaration of Dependance(…). A fun and feelgood story about graciousness and hitchhikers. The cast of the band gladly pics up hopeful individuals standing by the shoulders of the road and displays how easy life can be if you never say no and sees life as an ocean of solutions instead of a sea of problems. The film is nicly shot and the music, of course, makes a brilliant ambiance.

Flicker

A stop-motion music video for Paper Beat Scissors. Directed by Chris Tootell, this video is all stop-motion with 30 second exposures. The moody pictures accompanies the music nicely and, though it may be a bit slow to begin with, captures some beautiful moments.
