Some bands get it. Some labels get it. Take a look at this beautiful release.
Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson is a post-rock-band from Norway. Their debut album “Unnoticeable in a tiny town, invisible in the city” from 2005 blew my mind away. Their second album were put out on How is Annie Records this monday, released as a beautiful red or grey book consisting paintings and poems. Fuck iTunes store, fuck Spotify. This is the way to do it. Oh, and the music is also fantastic, by the way.
The art inside the book is by Hanne Grieg Hermansen and Hans Kristian Borchgrevink Hansen.
