Röyksopp is, according to their own website, releasing their next album in August. "Senior" was supposed to be out already, in April to be exact, but because of a bit of fuzz with the record companies, it has been postponed.

2010 has been pretty good so far, musicwise. Cool disco cuts from Lindstrøm, Chilly synth pop from Beach House, dancy electro from Two Door Cinema Club and unpretensious pop from Ellie Goulding ++. But its only the beginning of april and there are still tons of acts to look forward to. Here are some of the things to look out for.

After visiting Rough Trade in London I came across this new act (to me anyways) described as beautifull and ghostly with fragile, hushed vocals and I immediately came to think of personal favourite Lykke Li. So I snatched a copy unlistened.

Teenage Engineering makes really (really) nice looking things from their Stockholm studio. The first thing that caught my eye was the OP-1 synth. It looks amazing, with a fun, minimalistic design, but it actually seems like a very resourceful little music box as well.
