Christmas is just around the corner, and I guess Hans Petter Lindstrøm is getting in the christmas spirit. Pitchfork announced a couple of days ago that Lindstrøm is to release an 40 minute long epic space disco rework of ” little drummer boy”.

Fever Rays next single from the album “Seven” is due for release October 5th. It will include remixes by Crookers, Martyn, CSS, Marcel Dettmann, Seth Troxler and Nick Chacona. A limited edition 7″ is also out. It contains two covers. “Stranger than Kindness” by Nick Cave and Anita Lane and “Here Before” by Vashti Bunyan.

Former Metronomy member Gabriel Stebbings left the band earlier this year to focus on his own band, Your Twenties. And it seems that he’s off to another direction. Your Twenties has a different sound than his previous electro-pop band. This is more straight up british pop rock.
